I just upgraded here at work. Went from a 10.6.8 Snow Leopard machine to a
new Mavericks machine so I fired up Mailplane 3 for the first time. I have
NOT saved my password in Mailplane, I never have. One of the reasons I can
use this great tool at work. But once logged in if I close the app, then
reopen it, BAM! There's my email account.

Mailplane in the past NEVER kept a password once the app was closed. Why
would this be the case now? If I have not saved my password explicitly in
the Mailplane app, it should release it and NOT auto log in once launched
again.

This is a huge issue and I may not use Mailplane now.

This thread is from over a year ago. I have the latest version. I see
this as a bug. If I have NOT saved my password explicitly in the app, yet
the app launches to my account without requesting it - I see this as a bug
and I would like to make a formal request to have this bug fixed.

Up until yesterday I was using old Mailplane without issue. Today I may
have to discontinue using it due to lack of security. Yes, Mailplane 3 is
less secure than the old version.

I hope the Mailplane crew can work on this. It would be a shame to have to
give it up.
