ditto this - I caught mailplane pulling down gobs of data yesterday...
stopped mail plane and problem went way.  Today same thing.

Wild Guess.... Cacheing attachments maybe?  That's behaviour i'd like to be
able to disable.  The reason I use Mailplane is so that I don't end up with
gigs and gigs of email and related goo piling up on all my devices.
