This problem has been going on for at least a year now. I try to switch to another folder, or just refresh, and MP just says "waiting" or "try again in X seconds" Resetting MP usually fixes this, but I loose any drafts I am working on.
I have no problem accessing gmail in a browser at this same time, and no apparent problem with my internet connection. Any thoughts?
