It does seem bizarre (on Apples part) to make it so difficult.
I only came across this problem when my dad said he couldn't do it using
Outlook.
So I tried it out for myself (though i don't have Outlook)
It doesn't let you share via email through Mailplane or Airmail even if
they are set to default.
It will only let you share using Mail if that is selected as default
client, but jsut opening that up again reminded me why I hated it
("downloading 20 of 15,837 emails")
You can't drag and drop into any app (other than Apple apps) which I think
is an appalling decision and a massive step back.
What Airmail appear to be doing is having a separate share extension for
other apps to plug into. So whilst you cant share via email using Airmail,
you can share via their share extensions.
Though I am probably happy with being able to copy and paste, maybe a share
extension is worth looking into as a feature update?
Thanks
Sam
