Hey there, I'm on Mac OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite).
I have been using Google Inbox and was *really* pleased to see that my beloved Mailplane (which I have moved away from since it had no Inbox support) finally has support for Inbox! It's been going great, except for one thing. While I'm using Inbox on my three different Google Mail accounts (intentionally not saying "Gmail accounts" to avoid confusing my point), whenever I receive a notification on any of them which I then click on, a brand new tab is opened which takes me to the Gmail interface! This is pretty awful as I then have to either: 1. use the Gmail interface to handle that email (read/respond/etc) or 2. make note of the subject line, close the newly-opened Gmail tab, move to the Inbox tab, find the email and do my thing with it. Considerably awful experience. :( This effectively makes notifications useless to me. Perhaps each account could have a "Preferred interface" option in settings for the sake of notifications?
