I had the message on the bottom left that said Google Inbox needed a refresh. I couldn't click the link - nothing would happen. So I right-clicked, reloaded the page, and the message went away. Though now I can't click on the hamburger menu on the top left or the chat icon on the top right - neither of those functions work. Interestingly, the Google Apps, Notifications and Account options on the top right all work.
