I would also be very pleased if there were any solution to this. As a 
developer, I have a partition on my machine running High Sierra for testing 
and another running Sierra for normal usage but it would be nice to have 
the real functionality of checking email in Mailplane while I'm working in 
the HS developer environment as that is where I am spending most of my time 
until it releases, I expect, updating apps to be able to run on it. I'd be 
happy to test any pre-release versions you might have, as it's only a 
development installation anyway and if something goes wrong, it's not like 
it's my primary machine.
