Jonathan, I’ve got my email and calendar open in two tabs, it’s very easy. Look in the tab bar to the right of the last tab you have, and click on the “+” sign. You can now open a new tab for your personal calendar. It’s not a separate window per se, but it works fine in two separate tabs that are both available simultaneously.
