Yep. Service workers are the future of PWA. What they are saying is that for our Google Inbox to work the way we want it, it needs to work in offline mode.
Google isn't going back. It's up to Mailplane to support it or not... If not, I get it. Development costs money and this may have been unexpected. However, I can only take about a week more of using the plain-web version of Inbox before I move to another wrapper. Please hurry and fix it. The six of us here on this forum are not going to change Google's mind.
