Pakai Software apapun hasilnya akan tetap sama, karena perubahan dari DVD (sekitar 8 GB) ke VCD (2 x 700) otomatis harus menurunkan resolusi dan bitrate yang pada akhirnya akan menurunkan kualitas. Tetapi mungkin bisa memakai format DivX atau Xvid dg catatan tidak semua player/komputer bisa memainkannya.
