Location: Omaha, NE Duration: 6 months * Database Administrator: We have an excellent 6 month contract opportunity for a Sr. level DB2 LUW DBA. Your responsibilities will include designing, installing, maintaining and upgrading the enterprises production databases. Provide technical expertise in the use of database technology. Be accountable for the overall performance of the enterprises database environment. Work closely with clients, business analysts, systems programmers, and application developers to define and resolve information flow and content issues---helping to transform business requirements into environment specific databases. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance. Performs additional job duties as required.
