Responsibilities include working with application development teams to install and migrate releases, data fixes, as well as scripting procedures and administration of Oracle databases. Off hour shifts are a requirement including afternoon through evening and weekend hours. * *Please state your candidates exp. against each bullet stated below. Pls do so in the email body itself.. * *Pls Note: There will a thorough background check of the candidate if considered for the position.* *· Knowledge of Oracle Sqlplus, Sqlnet, logical and physical design, database links, cold and hot backup using RMAN, Data warehouse, VLDB, database design and configuration are a must. * *· Ability to work with application team to review SQL and PL/SQL and * *· a strong AIX ksh scripting knowledge, with the ability to automate repeatable processes such as data pulls and loads. * *· Knowledge of Oracle Gateway, Oracle Streaming, OEM lOG Grid Control, EMC Symmetrix, Netbackup and BCVs and may require participation in quarterly disaster recovery testing. * *Responsibilities may also include installation, configuration, and tuning of Oracle databases. Responsibilities will also include creating and validating procedures for all database processes. * *Knowledge of Semantic 13 is a big plus. * *Off shift hours are required.
