*Please go through the below requirement and do let me know if you have any consultants for this * *position. please send me the resume as early as possible with contact details to * [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * * *Need Senior Data Analyst with SQL Scripting skills with Teradata and SAS * for Columbus -- 8+ months *Required* SQL Scripting – 6 years Teradata – 3 years SAS – 2 years Data Analysis / Customer Analysis / Statistical Analysis Business Intelligence Senior / Lead experience QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have strong and varied data analysis experience including having worked with open ended coding, statistical analyses and working with large data sets. • Must be able to take verbal business requirements and convert them into results; must be able to take input/feedback from multiple sources/parties and combine them into a cohesive action plan. • Must be able to quickly translate data into concise and insightful executive summaries and presentations. • Database and data analysis experience required: demonstrated use of SAS, SQL Scripting, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint are necessities. • Experience with MicroStrategy (or comparable tools such as Business Objects) and MS Access are a plus. • Demonstrated analytic skills (ROI, profitability, customer segmentation, etc.) • Must be able to develop analytic plans and manage vendors providing analytics. • Experience with analyzing consumer research data preferred. • Outstanding interpersonal skills are a must. • Strong written and verbal skills are a must. • Must be able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced, high energy environment; ability to multitask will be a key to success. OVERVIEW: The Customer Market Insights Sr. Analyst is responsible for providing relevant and actionable data, analysis and knowledge to support general Consumer/Customer understanding, merchant activities and the brand overall. As the Customer Market Insight Sr. Analyst, you will provide internal clients with analytical reports, review current strategies, recommend action plans and analyze results. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead analysis of transactional customer data and existing primary research data, providing insights in purchasing patterns, developing hypotheses about trends and translating results into actionable recommendations for business partners. • Manage vendor data analysis, including cross-tabulations and statistical analysis. Review and edit vendor reports. As needed, write and present concise and actionable executive summaries for deemed studies. • Participate in whole company customer insights projects such as customer service, segmentation, ideation, brand equity studies, etc. • Participate in continued efforts of improving and/or developing new primary research methodologies in co-operation with internal and external resources. • Attend merchant meetings that relate to customer insights projects as appropriate for daily responsibilities. • Be a team player: This position will require effective interaction and coordination with many functional groups and internal customers. • Gain intimate knowledge of assigned business categories. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Accounting or other related discipline or equivalent experience. Experience working in the marketing research or consumer insights field preferred. Manager notes that primary skill he needs is strong SQL scripting skills working with any large RDBMS. He said that the person eventually would be working with SAS but he would train them if necessary.
