Conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning, and implementation of systems software and/or hardware. Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and documents operating systems. Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations. Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Identifies and resolves highly complex problems. Provides direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff. Minimum Experience: 4 yr degree plus 7-10 yrs exp Job Description: Seeking a Systems Support Analyst who is proficient in MS Server and enterprise HW technology to assist Wells Fargo Technology group with a server migration effort. This project will involve moving of high available production applications from one geographical location to another with minimal impact on business. Candidates with experience in enterprise datacenter consolidations or migrations should apply for this position. Day to day functions include high level troubleshooting diagnostics, research, evaluation and documentation duties to be carried out on server based hardware and Microsoft operating systems. May participate in day and night rotation to support infrastructure related issues and elevated administration. Provides input on designs based on technical and business requirements. Completes configuration activities and installs for the hardware/software/server environments. Works with other support groups to provide technical analysis and consultation on highly complex network/systems design and configuration issues. Should have expert knowledge of technical alternatives and the impact on the existing systems environments. Should be familiar with a methodology for integrating technology solutions into existing environments. Candidate should be able to bring to this position a wealth of IT disciplines including implementation methodology, change controls, security, process engineering, proof of concept and risk evaluation to ensure an efficient, secure and stable technical integration or problem resolution. Looking for an individual with a passion for technology at the same time understanding how to evaluate for practicality of applying changes. Candidate should exhibit the soft skills required for outstanding client support in terms of communications and delivery. Such skills should include: excellent writing capabilities, professional verbal communications, ability to adapt to change, flexible when taking on additional or different responsibilities, able to multitask, ability to be resourceful and learn quickly. This is a 3 month position with possibility of extension. Regular work hours with the possibility of some after hours work.
