Job Title : Firmware/Software Verification Engineer (Professional)
Job Duties : Develop module/unit/"white box" tests of firmware or software
code, Develop functional tests for embedded real-time firmware, Generate
test cases based on requirements (or usage scenarios),Develop and document
manual tests, Execute tests and analyze test results, Review tests and test
results. Document and resolve issues., Write and/or review plans,
specifications and reports that comply with defined practices and protocols.
Education Level: Undergraduate Degree
Industry Experience: 1 - 3 Years
3 - 5 Years
Non-Medtronic healthcare experience: 3 - 5 Years
1 - 3 Years
Oral Communication: Excellent
Written Communication: Excellent
attributes: * BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering * Working knowledge of
Visual Basic * Experience with hands-on V&V testing both embedded and
Windows CE applications * RF, ZigBee, Bluetooth, PAN test experience *
Experience in regulated industry (FAA, FDA, DOD, etc.) * Experience in a
software engineering process environment of SEI/CMM level 3 or above *
Excellent verbal and oral communication * Helpful if candidate has
understanding of Type 1 diabetes.
