Provides advanced technical support to developers, corporate customers and end users for complex products, including highly escalated issues. Provides support via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic media. May act as technical lead and provide technical training, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers. May provide limited consulting to internal or external customers. May research technical documents and feature lists. The Tellme Operations & Engineering Team is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator who can work in a highly collaborative and results focused team to take our monitoring and systems management practices to the next level. The role is both strategic and tactical, as you will provide input on emergent issues as well as long term architectures designed to enhance the stability, scalability, security, and performance of production systems while leveraging the newest available technology. Additional Information: Day to day work will be creating new accounts, Sr. Unix Administrator who may also be doing some development work under engineering. Supporting an internal data center. Long Version: 3+ years technical leadership building secure, scalable, stable and manageable production systems with server technologies and related 3rd party solutions • 3+ years forming, evangelizing, and implementing highly scalable and secure monitoring & management solutions/best practices across multiple diverse groups • 5+ years performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem management experience for client/server architectures • 8+ years working with various server technologies, data center operations, server hardware, and software solutions including Solaris, Linux, and Windows. • 3+ years experience with scripting/programming languages (e.g. PowerShell, VBScript, Jscript, C#, C++, etc.), TCP/IP, monitoring, and load balancing technologies • College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or 8+ years experience in related technical discipline is preferred • Excellent written and oral communication, and project management skills • Excellent problem resolution, judgment, negotiating, and decision making skills Required: # Very strong in Solaris and Linux. # DNS # TCP/IP # Perl -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks & Regards… Mahesh Atreyapurapu.
