*Hardware/Electrical Engineer*

*REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering related discipline (BSEE)
- years of professional electronic product development experience
- Digital and Analog circuit design knowledge and background (ideally with
both, but with the right background strength with only one might be
considered)
- Experience with at least one of the following three things:
- Thermal Protection of electronic hardware (temperature profiling,
monitoring, etc.)
- I2C noise reduction related issues
- EMI/EMC compliance and troubleshooting
- Experience with and ability to follow structured and requirements driven
processes
- Experience with full life-cycle electronic product development (circuit
design, circuit redesign or modification, testing, documentation, etc.,
through product launch). *

*DESIRED SKILLS:
- Medical Device experience, and knowledge of related UL, IEC, and FDA
compliance issues is a plus
- Power Conversion Design (AC to DC, and DC to DC) experience is a plus
- Design experience with chargers for lead batteries, or exposure to similar
battery driven products/systems is a plus
- Experience with Mentor Graphics design capture as a schematic capture tool
is a plus (other tools will substitute)
- I2C expertise is a plus
- Experiecne with PIC processors or chips is a plus
- Motor design experience is a plus*
