*DESCRIPTION*

*This position will be responsible for creating and developing cutting edge
enterprise applications for the mobile device space in a small team
environment. Strong skills in the areas of software analysis, design and
implementation are required. The successful candidate will have a big
influence on the enterprise mobile applications to be developed and must
have the ability to quickly bring their ideas to a proof of concept level
and later scale it on a mobile device.*
RESPONSIBILITIES: *
*
*- Lead development effort for enterprise mobile applications based on
RIM/J2ME or BREW or Pocket PC platform within product development team
- Create easy-to-use and powerful UI's
- End to end delivery of innovative mobile applications
- Be able to apply the software development lifecycle – analyze, design,
build, test, implement and release management
- Create effective technical requirements and design specifications
- Effectively communicates technical, business functional, design concepts
and work status with the development team and management
- Be able to work with the latest devices and technologies
- Test and documentation responsibilities as needed
- Work closely with other development teams as needed*
REQUIREMENTS: *
*
*- *5+ years of Development experience*
*- 3+ years J2ME or Brew application development experience required*
- *Java servlet/JSP/J2EE/XML* and Oracle/SQL database experience a plus
- Previous experience with more than one type of *wireless devices –
Blackberry (preferred), Palm, Bluetooth, Cell phones*, base stations – a big
plus
- Experience of *working on UNIX and windows *environments.
- Experience with *source code control CVS*
- Experience with video streaming a plus
- *Knowledge of Graphics libraries*
- *Knowledge of Multimedia support on mobile device*
- Strong written and verbal skills
- *Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical* audiences
