(Depends on experience level) Deadline: ASAP Enterprise System Management Engineer POSITION PURPOSE: The primary purpose is to integrate and support critical server management tools during customer transition as well as day-to-day operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ** Server management tools integration and support **– IBM Tivoli Monitoring version 6 (ITM 6)* * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent team player * Self-starting and highly motivated individual * Positive attitude and willing to take on new responsibilities * Regular, predictable attendance * Other duties at assigned This position greatly impacts both internal and external customers. The tools supported enable us to proactively manage the infrastructure to identify potential issues before business is affected. QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum 5 years support of large distributed server environments. * A minimum 3 years support and integration of server management tools * Solid foundation in IT operations service delivery * Experience with server management products such as IBM Tivoli Monitoring version 6. * Experience with HP Openview Network Node Manager is preferred, but not required. * Experience with UNIX/Linux systems and shell/scripting languages would be preferred.
