Job Summary Location: Annapolis, MD Duration: 3 Months Industries: Computer/IT Services Experienced (Non-Manager) Perl Programmer About the Job Perl Programmer The ideal candidate would be someone with about 3 years of Perl experience. The right person for this role will be familiar with Perl used under CGI. HTML should be no problem and this person should have a good understanding of JavaScript. This role will also require basic knowledge of Java and BPEL. Familiarity with Web Services (REST and SOAP) is important. Someone that has worked in a smaller type of development arena and is familiar with quick, speedy development and support would be ideal. Daily Responsibilities · Able to troubleshoot and support existing legacy code · Self sufficient to gather requirements, design solution within Oasis framework and see project through completion · Designs, develops, and deploys new applications from initial ideation to implementation. · Gathers, documents, and interprets user requirements and breaks them into development tasks · Participates in design, development and implementation of infrastructure projects, such as redesigning existing systems (i.e. supporting Oasis and integrating new workflow system) · Prioritizes and implements enhancement requests · Balances and prioritize multiple concurrent projects effectively Required Skills: · Knowledge of Perl and OO Perl · HTML and JavaScript (AJAX, Prototype, JQuery) · SQL · Familiarity with RRDTool · Basic BPEL skills and experience with Oracle 10.1.2 BPEL AS · Web services - REST and SOAP ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks & Regards… Ravinder Sangani.
