Hi, We have an immediate opening with our client for a Senior J2EE Developer located at MA. Please find a brief job description below – Job Title: Sr.. J2EE Developer with Websphere Location: Boston, MA Duration: 4 to 6 months Contract to Hire Start Date: ASAP Job Description Principal Accountabilities: · Gather and Analyze business requirements, prepare technical alternatives and make high level design recommendations. · Design, develop and implement technical solutions for applications and/or interfaces ,which may involve a number of platforms. · Apply concepts and adhere to project management and software development standard methodologies throughout the development lifecycle. · Coordinate, formulate and execute various testing activities such as unit, functional systems integration, performance and penetration testing. · Investigate, debug and resolve a wide variety of problems that occur with software applications. · Assist in or lead project management activities and provide technical direction and coordinate the project activities of other staff. · Provide ongoing technical support to application users and potential customers. · Create and maintain application technical documentation. · Provide on call technical support for applications in rotation with other members of the department. Key Skills needed: Java,J2ee,websphere Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java/J2ee, SQL Server, ColdFusion, Websphere application server, portal technology, Rational Application developer, Clearcase, Clearquest.
