Length of assignment- 6 + months All inclusive Bill rate- $ 45 /hr Location : Charlotte, NC (some business travel maybe required) Looking for a contract web designer to create web enabled user interface. The web designer is responsible for the information architecture, navigation, layout, visual appearance, usability and browser compatibility of the application. In the course of their design activity the web designer will work closely with Product Management and the development team to produce an effective, efficient, productive user experience. The web designer is responsible for developing necessary supporting design and web technology artifacts. Primary user interface is developed using the GWT framework. Appropriate web technologies are used as necessary to customize browser controls to provide the defined look and feel. In addition to development efforts, the web designer is responsible for assisting development of system tests, analyzing and debugging test failures and correcting defects. The candidate must have *at least six years* of experience designing and developing highly interactive user interface.* In the last two years the candidate should have designed interactive browser based user interface using AJAX, preferably using the Google Web Toolkit framework*. Experience in developing with .Net and internet security frameworks is a plus. Candidates are requested to submit URL(s) to examples of their work upon request.
