"I'm interested in Red Hat Linux SPECIALISTS who know about:

• Kernel memory management

• Bonding NICs

• Multipath I/O for SAN traffic

• Scripting (bash at minimum, python or Jython preferred)

• Kickstart customization (custom package lists, scripting of
configuration settings)

• Enterprise environment requirements (redundant components across
the board, 24x7 uptime without excuses, formal documentation to advance to
the next step, etc.)

• Dot.com experience (Internet scale problems with connections and
server loads, large user session counts, cutting edge technology, thinking
on your feet)

• Problem solving mentality (detectives, dogged and relentless –
think about who the Pinkertons would hire)

• How to disagree with someone in a civil and professional manner

• The importance of showing up to work and other soft skills

I do not want someone who is clever and can figure it out. I want someone
who is clever and figured it out already somewhere else. I offer a fair wage
and the chance to work with other clever people who will teach what they
know."
