*Please respond to [email protected]* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: 18months* *Rate: $45/hr* Responsible for design and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) database structure within the architecture and design guidelines. This involves providing consistent, standardized, integrated and quality data. Also important is the efficient loading and extracting of the data into and from the EDW database and to the business data marts. Participates throughout the project life cycle, from requirements to production implementation, with emphasis on data design and metadata. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* Participate in business and technical requirements Facilitate group sessions to clarify business rules and data design requirements Participate in the definitions of business rules and data standards Map the requirements to the source systems, EDW and applicable data marts Responsible for the EDW physical data structure Responsible for source to target mapping, table definitions, and column definitions and valid values Responsible for data dictionary Responsible metadata related to projects *QUALIFICATIONS:* 3 - 5+ years experience in data design techniques 2+ years experience working in the financial services industry Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience Experience in data warehouse or information based planning and analysis Must be self-motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills Proven oral and written communication skills Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships A thorough understanding of relational databases and data models Experience in writing SQL or using a query tool against a database Experience with DB2 UDB Experience with data modeling Experience with ERWIN Experience with ACCESS Experience with VISIO, EXCEL and WORD *Preferred:* Experience working on data warehouse/data mart development projects Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends in data warehousing -- Thanks & Regards James Astoline Inc Phone : 732-658-9252 E-mail : [email protected] www.astoline.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mainframe1952" group.
