*Please respond to [email protected]* * * Groton, CT 12 months *F2F required* * * The technical writer is the onsite resource who creates / updates technical documentations for DBA group. The individual develops processes, procedures and work instructions for various activities in the group and maintains them in the repository. This individual works under the direction of the Data base team lead and receives instructions from DBAs, Engineering and Operations technical personnel. *Job Duties:* - Creating and documenting new processes, procedures and work instructions. - Updating existing process, procedure and work instructions. - Assist with documentation of operating procedures and the continuous improvement of processes and procedures. - Creating communication for the team as well as audiences outside of the team. *Qualifications:* * Required* - 4 year degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical training, or equivalent experience administering Unix or Windows environments - Basic knowledge of hardware, system software, networking, and storage technologies - Strong communication skills - Strong documentation skills. - Strong problem-solving skills - Strong organization skills - Self Starter and motivated to own the responsibilities.
