He wants someone who has heavy experience in/with: (This is an all encompassing Enterprise Architecture Position: .Net Architecture, Oracle/Data warehousing, Mainframe, Web Services, Tibco)
- Heavy .Net Architecture and WebServices experience - Large enterprise envlironments - Heavy transactional experience (He said their environment currently has approximately 20-30 thousand transactions a day, but it is the processes each transaction kicks off that is very high and they need someone who has experience in that type of environment) - Tibco experience - Data Warehousing and Oracle experience (Enterprise-Level understanding and data integration issues) - MUST HAVE Insurance environment experience preferably in Claims. Financial environment experience would be a plus. - Finally, as part of performing the Enterprise Architecture role Steve wants to make sure the person we bring in has worked with and strongly understands Heterogeneous Systems specifically between and working with Mainframe and .Net systems. Heterogeneous Systems: The distributed system contains many different kinds of hardware and software working together in cooperative fashion to solve problems. There may be many different representations of data in the system. This might include different representations for integers, byte streams, floating point numbers, and character sets. Most of the data can be marshaled from one system to another without losing significance. Attempts to provide a universal canonical form of information is lagging -- Thanks & Regards Craig Goldberg Account Manager ASTOLINE INC Office:732-658-9248 [email protected] IM: craig_astoline --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mainframe1952" group.
