*Job Title:* MySQL DBA / Database Designer / Architect
*Location: *San Jose, CA.
*Job Duration: *6 Months
*Job Description:*
- Lead DB Schema and architectural designs
- Design and implementation of relational databases at an enterprise
level.
- Physical database design and tuning.
- MySQL experience of at least 5 years.
- Knowledge of multiple MySQL storage engines.
- Experience with MySQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Strong Data Modeling experience.
- Logical-to-physical data model engineering.
- Provide expertise related to DB performance and scalability.
- Database automation through scripting and stored procedures.
- Must have clustering experience with SQL.
- Strong knowledge of Replication, Clustering, Tuning, Sizing and
Monitoring.
- Experience with data sharding/partitioning is a must.
- Knowledge of sharing data across multiple RDBMS servers Demonstrated
ability to write clear
technical and design documents.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Problem solving skills with ability to research analyze and find
solutions independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work closely with
teammates, product
management and QA.
