We are currently seeking a Network Engineer for technology project and legacy support of Agency technology assets in our Infrastructure Team within our Technology Services Group. Currently have a considerable number of technology projects and a stable legacy environment. Experience: Recent experience with *VPN* and *Firewall* technologies. Cisco *VoIP* experience; ie Unity, Call Manager and ACD. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve network issues Respond to customer requests and provide effective customer service using clear communication skills. Managed, troubleshoot and configure complex vLANs, WANs and networks. Work under steady pressure with frequent interruptions Plan and organize work to meet changing priorities and deadlines Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work Experience with supporting and troubleshooting *SONET* switches. Several years experience working in a Cisco/Microsoft environment Able to communicate/educate all levels of understanding Ability to design enterprise network routing architectures. Implementation of Wi-Fi devices. Knowledge of: In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies In-depth knowledge of CISCO Appliances; ie routers, switches Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot and monitor firewall Principals and practices of change management VoIP and Application QoS CISCO Intrusion Detection appliances and configuration Highly Desired: Cisco VoIP experience Network Security Exp Pix Firewall 3+ Years exp. with CISCO hardware.
