*Please respond to [email protected]* Locations: Menlo Park, CA (testing) and South Lake, TX (customer site) *expenses for travel from CA to TX will be paid* Duration: 3+months *Summary:* DBA for MySQL Cluster needed to design, deploy, document & test first in Menlo Park, CA, then execute at customer site in South Lake, TX. Consultant will likely work half-time/part-time for several weeks in March/April and ramp up to full-time in May & June (engagement estimated to wrap up late June); additional follow-on and maintenance work likely. CDS application experience desired but not required; four node MySQL and a six node data and working on Sparc Server; XVM Ops Center tracking. MySQL Certification strongly desired; still in the process of clarifying which of these are most applicable but this list should help with your search criteria: CMA (Certified MySQL Associate) CMDBA (Certified MySQL 5.0 Database Admin) CMCDBA (Certified MySQL 5.1 Cluster Database Admin) Strong communication/verbal/written skills; must have strong grasp of English language and excellent communications skills.
