Designation: eCommerce Business Analyst (B2C and B2B) Location: Memphis, TN and Chicago, IL/ Lexington, KY Duration: 6-12 months (extendable) Mandatory skill: ATG commerce/ WebSphere Commerce Responsibilities: . The eCommerce Business Analysts work independently or in conjunction with ATG / WebSphere Commerce Architects and customers to gather business requirements and help define a solution that meets business, user and technical needs in the form of highly engaging online(web) experiences. . Serves as a direct liaison to functional process owners in order to translate and prioritize requirements for assigned area project and maintenance work. . Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and if necessary, for managing requests for changes to the specifications. . Assists the business in determining which business requirements can and should be automated, manage project execution, participate in SDLC and integrate with other business and technical processes . Vendor management - GDC selection, SOW, engagement, tracking and control . Maintains functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of the assigned areas systems, organization, and business processes . Understand business domain and build depth in focus area Experience: . Business Analyst in a software or e-commerce service environment with ATG/ WebSphere Commerce experience . Demonstrated use of standard techniques (JAD, interviewing, use case modeling, gap-fit analysis, process definition, requirements management) for gathering requirements . Experience developing standard software documents including Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Configuration Documents, Use Cases, diagrams etc. . Client relationship management experience with proven skills in negotiation, expectation management and facilitation. . Strong knowledge of: Internet application development in a Java environment, data modeling, databases and quality assurance processes . Experience working in the SDLC . Knowledge of, and interest in, the ecommerce market space . Proven ability to serve as a liaison between technical developers and product management . Strong analytical, leadership, problem solving and decision making skills . Superior listening skills as well as written and verbal communication skills . Efficient organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent demands . Experience working collaboratively in a team-based setting and accepting ownership of issues while sharing credit for team successes . Effective decision-making skills . Detail oriented self-starter with diligence to follow issues through to conclusion . Ability to think outside the 'box', and demonstrate creativity in problem solving and new approaches. . Excellent professional integrity and a strong work ethic .
