Location: Philadelphia, PA Duration: 3 months initially but probably 6+ months Rate: DOE Start: ASAP Description: *MUST BE ABLE TO FACE TO FACE WITH A TWO DAY NOTICE AND START IMMEDIATELY* Seeking a Teradata Physical Data Modeler with hands-on lead level experience in the design and implementation of an Application/User Access layer for Reporting and Analytical solutions from multi-subject 3NF Data Warehouse using the Inmon Approach. Works under the direction of the Supervisor, Data Modeler. Specific experience: * 10 years relational database design * Demonstrated experience designing/implementing physical data models for Reporting and Analytical solutions * At least 5 years of Teradata in the last 8 years (Teradata v2r6 or later); Certified Teradata Professional preferred * Demonstrated experience in at least 2 functional roles (data architect, modeler, BI/SQL report coding) with the ability to generate complex DDL * Proficiency with data modeling tools (Erwin preferred) * High proficiency using Teradata tools (Visual Explain, DBQL, ANSI SQL, Multiload, SQL Assistant, PMON and Teradata Administrator) * 5+ years of hands-on experience coding SQL/DDL * High proficiency in SQL query optimization -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks & Regards… Mahesh Atreyapurapu.
