JOB SCOPE: The Principal Architect will be primarily responsible for the creation of technology roadmaps for major revenue producing systems. Technology roadmaps for the Money Transfer and Payments businesses will be created in conjunction with the enterprise architecture, delivery function and business owners. These roadmaps will serve to align technology with the current and future needs of the business. Primary Responsibilities: •Consults with senior IT management and business units on the design of complex and/or strategically important systems and projects. Consults with leadership on emerging technologies. •Expert understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies strategic planning and direction as it relates to high-level business and customer needs. •Works with senior management to define and develop technology strategy. Independently works with functional and business units to execute strategy. •Develops and presents proposals to senior management in a business presentation setting. Leads discussion and drives for decisions. •Provides guidance to technology team members on technology direction and standards to be followed as part of the architectural review process.
