*Hi Friends,* *Need **DB2 Programmer** **Need NJ local consultant for face to face**.* *Please respond to [email protected]*** Duration: 6months Location: Livingston, NJ. *need locals only* Job Duties: This position is responsible for design, installation, support and availability of DB2 subsystems running on the mainframe platform, including all related third party software products. This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe infrastructure projects, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, and providing general day to day support of the environment. Strong customer focus and communication skills are also rquired. The candidate must have experience with datasharing and experience with SAP on the z/OS platform is highly desirable. *Skills in order of importance: * 1. *Strong knowledge of DB2 for OS/390 or z/OS platform*, and the ability to install/migrate and support it. 2. Strong skills in *SMP/E, IBM DB2 utilities, and CA-Utilities for DB2*. 3. *Strong diagnostic and debugging skills with DB2* and its allied address spaces. 4. *DB2 Datasharing in* a parallel *Sysplex environment experience is required* 5. Knowledge in performance and tuning of DB2 in a production environment (DB2 CA-Insight or equivalent monitoring tools). 6. Ability to install and support *DB2 OEM* software products (*FileAid for DB2, DB2 CA-utilities, IBM DB2 Tools, etc*) 7. Experience with *SAP in a DB2 for z/OS* environment highly desirable 8. *DB2 DBA* work related knowledge a plus. 9.
