Evaluates the work products of others for accuracy and completeness · Develop and review the coding efforts of others to ensure it adheres to technical specifications and operational standards · Create and maintain code such as PL/SQL, SQL, Java, XML, and Unix scripting as required · Develop, test and work with deployment teams for customized Oracle applications and in-house developed business applications · Lead and approve code reviews · Analyze and document root cause of defects or production support issues and implement appropriate solutions using own judgment · Troubleshoot code defects in the development, test, and production environments and implement appropriate solutions · Supervise unit testing activities to verify quality of code · Review and approve code solutions and deployment instructions provided by other team members to ensure adherence to standards and to validate quality · Program Java, HTML, and SQL application components based on general design specifications · Perform tracing of software requirements to detailed designs and coded modules · Co-develop key technology initiatives with the Architecture group · Design and develop reusable data access objects and software that applications use to access business data · Document data access objects and reusable software objects for the development community · Support the implementation of highly data-centric applications and the interfaces to them to support the business goals · Design, develop, and support low-level common objects that are reusable across applications development (e.g., logging, string and date manipulation) * * · Design solutions to functional gaps · Design end-to-end solutions, interfacing to or integrating with third party and custom systems · Advise Business Analysts on the design of technical solutions · Estimates and reviews the estimates of others on the technical effort required to deliver assigned tasks · Create detailed design specification for application components based on business requirements and conceptual designs · Lead code reviews · Supervises integration testing and performance testing as needed · Prototype solutions for customer and analyst review * * * Knowledge, skills & abilities:* - 5 or more years of development experience with Oracle, Java, J2EE or XML experience required - Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt message to both technical and non-technical audiences - Excellent problem solving and logical analysis skills - In-depth experience working on Interfaces/ conversions in an Oracle 11i applications environment - Knowledge of operating systems - Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and OO development concepts - Leadership skills – ability to lead a team to accomplish team goals and train and mentor others - PL/SQL and Oracle database development knowledge - Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning of SQL - Strong debugging and problem solving skills - Working knowledge of TOAD (Tool for Oracle Application Developers) - Excellent technical knowledge of Java in a web application environment required; knowledge of J2EE (preferred) - Knowledge of Apache Tomcat Web server, Struts framework, and Tiles (preferred) - Scripting languages (e.g., Perl) (preferred) *2) Minimum certifications/educational level:* - BS Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field (preferred) *3) Minimum experience:* * *· 5+ yrs of IT development experience using Oracle technologies, J2EE and XML - Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required - Proficiency in Windows required - Proficiency in Linux (preferred) *Thanks & Regards,*** * *** *Sudheer*** *Nihaki Systems Inc**,** * *Email ID**:[EMAIL PROTECTED] * * --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IBM_Mainframe" group.
