Dotnet Architect Location: NY Duration: 6+ mnts Rate: DOE The Application Architect role is responsible for successful project completion against business objectives, project scope, software design/architecture, timeline, budget, customer satisfaction, and quality. This includes software design, technical documentation, development team leadership, code management/review, and deployment planning.
1. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: . 8 plus years of experience with in an Application Architectural role . 8 plus years of experience with .Net and Microsoft Technologies . Well versed with Object Oriented Principles . Extensive experience with Design patterns (software patterns) and design principles . Experience with Multi-threading . 8 plus years hands-on experience leading medium to large scale and/or enterprise-wide software development projects in a .Net/WinTel environment . Experience leading a team of developers, ensuring architecture and design to meet product requirements, and be responsible to deliver high quality products & solutions on time and on budget . Extensive knowledge of Internet application development including ASP.Net, C#/.NET, ADO.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, PL-SQL, and SOA enterprise development principles . Hands on experience developing web services and Windows services using Microsoft .Net technologies . 3 plus years of experience with SOA and constructing SOA components . Experience estimating, planning, designing, and implementing n-tier software architectures . Strong ability to clearly explain issues of reliability, scalability, and extensibility with respect to the overall solution . Mature design skills and the ability to clearly articulate and clarify design tradeoffs to the client .
