MUST HAVE PAYROLL AND PEOPLESOFT 8.9 EXPERIENCE! *

3+ years experience in Payroll plus in depth systems experience,
specifically PeopleSoft 8.9 & SmartTime Time & Attendance.
Systems development experience a must.
In depth payroll knowledge
Understands and can interpret bargaining contracts
In depth systems technical ability
Benefits knowledge is a PLUS.
Strong initiative, self motivated

*DUTIES: *
Supports on-going maintenance activities, reporting, and fix/implementation
activities associated with PeopleSoft 8.9 and SmartTime Time & Attendance as
they relate to payroll, time & attendance, tax, and general ledger
operations.  Supports the day to day activities of Payroll and HR
Operations.

Responsibilities: *

Responsible for maintenance of the current PeopleSoft application, including
but not limited to all payroll related tables, such as earnings, deductions,
paygroup, special accumulator, garnishment, and payroll processes such as
tax updates, file transfers, special programs that require off cycle
payrolls.
Responsible for maintenance of the SmartTime application, including but not
limited to security, schedule maintenance, holiday schedules, pay rules,
bargaining contract changes, reports.
Responsible for gathering requirements and testing new payroll interfaces
and modifying existing interfaces as needed.
Responsible for gathering requirements and testing new payroll reports in
production and query, and modifying exiting reports and queries as needed.

Assists Operations Analysts with ensuring data integrity by analyzing
control reports.
Assists in the design and delivery of payroll related training programs as
they relate to process, workflow and system functionality.
Must understand the interaction between HR Administration, Benefits, and
Payroll in PeopleSoft 8.9.
Acts as the intermediary between all levels of personal in all companies and
the Information Technology Group to relay system needs and improve
operations.  Need to be able to analyze and recommend and be aware of how
the recommendations will impact the Corporation.
