Please note that we are setting the original assignment length at 6-12 months, however, there is potential for extension. * PROJECT/POSITION DESCRIPTION: (for external use)* Software Developers needed to develop business solutions within the Personal Markets Insurance Claims industry. Developers will work with a leading integrator in an Agile Scrum environment to help migrate from an older Claims application to the Guidewire ClaimCenter application. * Responsibilities:* # Analyzes technical system problems, and designs and implements effective solutions. # Works with technical staff to understand problems with softwareand resolve them. # May be asked to provide on-call support. # Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. # Investigates components of new tools and techniques. # Ideal candidate will have experience with the Guidewire ClaimCenter application, use of Guidewire's development environments around configurations, use of Guidewire tools both for interface development and rules design and implementation. # Responsible for quality assurance reviews. # Devises or modifies procedures to solve highly complex problems in the Claims business space. # Has thorough knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies especially in regards to Web Development, User Interface Design and Web Services, principally using Java and Gscript.
