Location: Charlotte, NC *Job Function: * The position is a strategic position, supporting Caliber and Clarity for a project services office supporting an IT application delivery organization of ~200. > The candidate will be the lead resource responsible for building out the Caliber practice; defining standards and process and metrics; governing the use of Caliber; measuring quality of requirements; measuring use and adoption; interfacing with Caliber tool administrator and Caliber vendor and enterprise Caliber governance group. > The candidate will be expert in defining business, user and functional requirements, applying techniques such as USE CASES, able to train and mentor analysts in defining requirements. > The candidate will be a member of the team responsible for supporting Project Management and SDLC practice; defining standards and process and metrics; governing the use of Clarity. Clarity experience and a PMP qualification are preferred. *General:* Serves as subject matter expert on Project Management processes, methodologies, and tools; provides resolution to the most complex Project Management issues (e.g., troubled projects). Provides enterprise thought leadership on Project Management processes, tools, and issues. Excels at developing Business Analysis and Project Management training materials, conducts training as required. Excellent ability to develop metrics for tracking business process improvements within both technology and business organizations. Excellent ability to provide consulting support for projects. Mentors and advises Business Analysts and Project Managers. Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives. Tasks and Responsibilities: Specific: >Proficient in the use of Borland CaliberRM Requirements Management tool and in defining Software requirements > Ability to train and mentor business and application analysts in the requirements process; > Proficient in use of Clarity project management tool. >PMP qualification >Ability to administer and govern process, projects and SDLC methodology. *General:* Excels at implementing Project Management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques. Excellent grasp of human resource management techniques. Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills. Required education/experience: BS / MS or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field. 8 plus years of Project Management and IT work experience. PMP or other Project Management certification preferred. Dramatically enhances the alignment between business processes and IT. Excellent grasp of systems process analysis, design, simulation, gap analysis, etc. Excellent understanding of technical problems and solutions in relation to current, as well as future, business environment. Leads planning and prioritization for business process engineering related activities across multiple business units / functional areas. Excels at suggesting and implementing plans to integrate new and existing processes. Adept at leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvements.
