Strong SQL, WCF web services and BizTalk architecture and .NET development experience is a critical addition to the skill set of the existing team. Experience Required: The Back End project team is focused on the implementation of a set of Web Services based on WCF / .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 technologies and a relational SQL Server 2008 database. Technical Lead. Works as a technical lead resource for the Purchase Management back-end project team responsible for the design and implementation of WCF Services and SQL Server database design. Mentoring. The customer?s on-site staff is not familiar with WCF/ SQL Server 2008, you should be comfortable with teaching / mentoring / guiding on-site staff in a capacity which will prepare them for maintaining, supporting and ultimately extending the solution in the future. Leadership. Work in a lead role, coordinating work effort with Microsoft, Microsoft Partners, 3rd party consultants and various customer resources. Work in an independent capacity, comfortable working through ambiguity while keeping focus on goals / objectives. Single Point of contact. Manage project team communications, documentation, reporting and communications up to the PMO. Be the point of contact to the Solution Architecture team and PMO to ensure the overall success of the project team. Identify and raise issues / risks early. As an application development resource on the back-end project team, an existing framework and set of client design patterns will be available for consumption ? the expectation will be to utilize and closely follow this framework while building out the various WCF Services / SQL Server 2008 database with respect to the business requirements and existing project plan. Work as a senior-level individual contributor on application development tasks related to the build and implementation of the entire back-end SOA architecture and SQL Server database. Closely work with the Architects and Solution Architecture team to ensure alignment of existing customer and team practices / standards / approaches.
