Start Date: ASAP
Skill Sets Required:
1. Primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of Utility and
legacy NetApp NAS and DataFort environments
2. Knowledgeable of Windows/UNIX NetApp NAS management
3. Expert in NetApp NAS, DataFort, and software tools
4. Knowledgeable of network architecture, configuration, and concept
5. Expert in NetApp NAS functionality and architecture design and
implementation
6. Responsible for ensuring NetApp NAS consistency
7. Primarily responsible for maintenance of NetApp NAS hardware
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), standards
8. Responsible for planning of installation and deinstallation of
NetApp hardware
9. L3 NAS resource to others
Technical Skills required:
o NetApp disk utilization
§ Disk / raid / aggregate design to achieve best practices / maximizing
space
o SnapMirror
§ Best practice, configuration and network design
o SnapVault
§ Data Protection Manager
§ Backup windows and backup scheduling
o Performance Manager
§ Identifying overactive workloads
§ Providing quality of service in a shared environment
o CIFS / NFS
§ Multiprotocol design and setup
§ NFS v4
§ Multistore (vfilers)
o Miscellaneous - these are nice to haves
§ Exchange on NetApp
§ Virtualization on NetApp
