Work with other engineers, managers, product managers, project managers, QA, and operation teams to develop these innovative applications for the global online platform. Meet realistic implementation schedules and adhere to development goals and principles. Define, design, implement, test, and rollout these muti-tier software applications, which meet the product requirements and deliver good performance, scalability, and quality. Support feature development, releases, bug fixes etc as necessary. Take ownership in addressing customer issues, operational challenges, maintain and evolve applications overtime. Develop industry and product technical expertise, especially in the areas of web applications. Requirements 5+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and testing of web applications in a Windows/Unix development environments. Project experience working in development teams and with application servers and developing and consuming web services. Must have experience developing high traffic, multi-threaded, customer-facing web applications, and efficient batch/file processing. Must have expert working knowledge of Java, XML, Database servers, Web servers, Web Services and Application servers. Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus in a high velocity, high quality environment. Need people with experience in eBay's V3 V4 technology stack.
