*Java/J2EE Lead – Architect* *Location: Washington DC* *Duration: 6 months minimum* *Rate: $60 on W2 OR $65 ON C2C* * * *SUMMARY: The Lead Software Engineer contractor is a professional with a solid technical expertise in Java J2EE, Spring Hibernate and SOA. The contractor will work on the re-architecture projects with minimum supervision, performs as a technical lead, assists management with work estimates and guides other developers. * * * *Qualifications:* · *Advanced knowledge of Java and J2EE –Minimum of 10 years* · *Advanced experience with Java Web Application framework* · *Minimum of 5 years of strong practical experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate* · *Strong practical experience with User Interface Design * · *Minimum of 6 years experience with Ajax technology and Javascript/Ajax* · *Working experience with Oracle database is preferred* · *Working experience with Web services and service oriented architecture principles is a must* · *Minimum of 8 years of working experience with design patterns, continuous integration, automated unit test and test driven development* · *Work experience on large scale projects is a must* · *Solid experience with WebSphere or equivalent application servers* · *Strong interpersonal skills* · *Demonstrated proficiency at following Iterative development life cycles and associated standards and procedures* · *Demonstrated experience in Object-Oriented Design* · *Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, plus a minimum of 12 years of related professional experience.
