* Position: J2EE Software Engineer – Frontend Engineering Location: US – Santa Clara, CA Rate: $50/hr – C2C 6 months to Long term *MUST have solid Javascript, HTML, DOM/DHTML and YUI* Job Responsibilities: As a team member you will have an opportunity of work on many of these systems as well as work with various cross-functional teams to participate in entire life-cycle of the products. *Understand the business requirements, translate them into design and implementation approaches, and rapidly drive convergence towards the best solution. *Engineer the full product lifecycle, from concepts, design through to maintenance, managing prioritization and trade-offs across functional domains *Hands-on coding: Develop and maintain high quality code base, consistently delivering challenging, stable, and maintainable projects on schedule. Minimum Job Qualifications: *A solid computer science foundation including data structures, programming languages, operating systems, software engineering, and databases. *Strong experience with JSP, Servlets, Struts, MVC, and Spring *Document Object Model ( DOM) *Strong experience with Object Oriented JavaScript, CSS, and DHTML *Experience working with YUI widgets, AJAX, and developing interactive web applications *Strong, hands-on Java, J2EE development skills - ideally with JBOSS else Web Logic/Websphere *Knowledge of cross browser issues and internet security *Strong background in object oriented design and design patterns *Excellent debugging and testing skills *Attention to detail, strong hands on, flexible with assignments, and can-do attitude *Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills to work with various cross functional teams on multi-team projects *Excellent analytical and problem solving skills *Must have strong verbal and written communication skills *Should have a strong sense of commitment and responsibility. *BSCS/MSCS or equivalent Preferred Job Qualifications: *Experience with Databases *Experience in Advertisement management systems is definitely a plus *Experience with building large scale, distributed, highly scalable and highly available internet enabled enterprise server systems *Self starter/high energy, deadline-driven, dependable and can deliver results with aggressive deadlines *Track record in mentoring junior engineers *Knowledge of production support activities *Please respond to [email protected] Only.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mainframe" group.
