Below are the job details, Please let me know your interest. *Candidate once shortlisted, Has to undergo background check on education, employment, drug and crime. * * * Technical Lead C/C++ Duration: 12+ Months Location: San Jose, CA *Billing rate: $40/hr W2 with no benefits OR $45/hr C2C (Not Negotiable) * *No# of positions: 10* *Job Description:* · The Software Tech Engineer is responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining numerous applications. · These applications are built on a UNIX platform, and utilize C, C++, RDBMS (UDB or Informix), and XML. · Will conduct impact analysis of current applications, review business requirements, estimate work effort on new projects, create detail designs, develop code and test changes. · Hands on development deliverables such as coding, unit testing, system testing and strong project documentation are also part of the responsibilities. Coding must adhere to department standards, be easily maintainable, and have good system performance. · Will work closely with other project team members (Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, Product Managers, etc.) and coordinate and lead interfaces with other groups (Development, Network, QA, Operations, Engineering etc). *Job Requirements:* · Strong analytic, design, coding and testing skills · 6+ years experience *object-oriented design and development in UNIX / Linux environments* · 4+ years *C / C++ development; familiarity with Java or RUP* a plus · 4+ years *RDBMS experience (Informix, UDB, SQL-Server)* · Proficiency with high performance and/or high-volume transaction processing a plus. · Excellent analytical skills with an open mind to different opinions from peers and business partners Strong ability to estimate engineering effort and rationalize technical trade-offs · *Excellent verbal and written skills*, with proven ability to communicate complex ideas in clear, concise ways Ability to write clean coherent maintainable code In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle required Adaptable to work in a challenging environment, either as a team player or independent Results oriented, proactive and showing overall leadership quality. · Knowledge of client's applications desirable BS and/or MS in Computer Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Science Experience working with remotely located teams. · Experience working in *online trading and payment applications* is a plus. · Experience in working on *financial products* is a plus. *Please respond to [email protected] Only* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mainframe" group.
