This deal will get started in the next 4 weeks. Would last 3 to 6 months,
and then longer based on our success.
Project: Transform the manual creation of dashboard reports from
spreadsheets to Cognos Metrics Manager. In addition to data residing in
legacy systems, a parallel effort is required to develop a Proof of Concept
(POC) leveraging data residing on the Release 1 of an SAP implementation for
a portion of the client sites.
Two Phases are planned:
Phase I: A proof of concept with 3-5 measures pulling from a variety of
sources, so non-SAP data should be leveragable across the SAP and Legacy
POC’s. The focus of the SAP work is a parallel effort with the Legacy data
work but focused on SAP data from the SAP locations. Expansion of the
summary level dashboard to all metrics.
Phase 2: Provide drill down to detail level data all to be delivered through
Cognos Metrics Manager.
Resource Needs:
Functional resource with SAP BI/BW skills to develop the functional
specifications to automate the extraction and upload of data from SAP ECC
and delivering to IBM Cognos Metrics Manager to create Dashboard Reports
