Role -: OBIEE Architect (9+ years)
Location -: Columbus, Indiana
Duration -: 6+ months
Rates -: Negotiable
Description -: 9+ Years of total and 5+ as OBIEE Architect
- Ability to define Architecture road maps for Enterprise level
Technology Change Management, Analytics program and develop strategies for
Customers in Oracle BI technologies.
- Must be able to conduct project Architecture reviews and play an
active role in Architecture Governance
- Ability to create solutions and defend them with Customer as well as
Project Architects.
- Participate & Define OBIEE roadmap, and Provide guidance on using
OBIEE version i.e. 10g vs 11g
- Engineer & Build highly available OBIEE analytical reporting
environment
- Engineer & Build OBIEE operational reporting environment, along with
the creation of an automated process for building these environments in
production (This is required since we require operational reporting
environments at each of our data centers )
- Participate in doing cost / benefit analysis for deploying OBIEE on
Solaris containers vs Linux (RHEL)
- Must have defined, designed and implemented BI Analytics solutions
for more than one functional areas in Oracle BI technologies
- Must have trained/mentored Analysts, Development & Support IT teams
in the past.
- Experience in OBIEE/OBIA and any other Reporting tools a must and
exposure to ETL/Informatica will be advantage.
- Experience in Capacity planning exercise, performance tuning of
reporting applications, exposure to in sizing infrastructure will be added
advantage
- Experience in Manufacturing domain supply chain, finance, or service
analytics will be an advantage
- Good verbal & written communications skills are a must
Lead a large BI Analytics Architecture board/program from a technology and
solution architecture governance at enterprise level
Mentor and provide inputs/feed for Analysts, Architects and developments in
the respective area
Bachelor of Engineering/Computer Applications/IT/Science in Masters degree
preferred.
