Skill & Responsibilities • Should have extensive experience in Application development, enhancements and Support in AS/400 using RPG400, RPGILE, COBOL and CLP. • Must have worked in AS/400 Application Production Support (Level 1/Level 2) and ability to resolve the tickets within the SLA, Ad-hoc Support, Perform Data fixes, monitoring jobs and System performance analysis. • Should handle User queries, Incident Management, Problem management, Change Management, Release Management for timely Resolution of the tickets. • Should perform preventive, perfective and adaptive maintenance to the support applications. • Strong knowledge in DB2/400, responsible for validating the DB design, creation of database and file analysis to interpret business logic • Should be able to provide break fixes, non-break fixes and contribute in minor enhancements. • Ability to analyze, perform impact analysis & system study based on user requirements • Ability to do functional analysis and prepare design as well as technical specifications for enhancement related workability to create/modify RPG, RPGILE & COBOL programs based on the Functional/Technical Document • Co-ordinate between client & the offshore team and perform peer reviews & Testing • Should have worked extensively with Physical, Logical files, Sub-files & Printer files • Should have exposure to Journaling, Triggers -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mainframe" group.
