Proven data architecture skills, especially in relational and dimensional data modeling and physical database design of decision support systems. Some exposure to data modeling tools such as ERWIN. Experience designing, implementing and managing metadata solutions. Meta data definition and repository experience a plus. Strong problem-solving skills in complex, multi-vendor computing environments. Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences. Ability and desire to work within a cross-functional team environment with people from multiple business units, vendors, countries and cultures. Understanding of data warehouse project management methodologies and tools such as ETL tools, reporting tools (Business Objects), BI tools. Exposure to relational database technology such as Oracle, SQL Server and DB2 AS400 is needed.
