Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* qa tester *Project Location* Manhattan, NY *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:-Telephonic+FacetoFace* Candidate must have *ISTQB* - Foundation Level (CTFL) or above certification to be considered Skills & Requirements: • The typical candidate should have experience testing Internet, intranet, and client-server applications. • The experience should also include developing test plans and interpreting system requirements documents in order to perform effective end-user testing and determining adherence to scope. • The candidate must have the ability to learn overall system processes and identify process-related issues. • Should have experience with interpreting process flows and use cases, (our client currently uses Visio to diagram UML), Visio, Word, Excel and Power Point. • The candidate must also have experience with writing detailed *manual test scripts*. • The candidate must be familiar with exploratory testing concepts and testing methodologies. The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate: • Knowledge of Rational Quality Manager or other test management tools such as HP Quality Center is a plus. • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) is preferred. • The candidate must possess strong communication and analytical skills. • Knowledge of identifying testing techniques for data driven applications is a plus. • Knowledge of PEGA case management solution and/or testing vendor solutions is a plus.
