*Job Description:*
*Job Title   :** Network Operations QA Engineer*

*Location  :** Remote *
*Duration :** 9+ Months*



Must be able to work swing and night shifts during PST time (7:00p-5:00a or
8:00p-6:00a, etc…)

must be able to travel to Kaiser California for training as needed – 3
weeks, etc… - travel must be paid for by candidate!)

The ideal candidate will come from network background with experience
working with various industry leading manufacturers for WAN/LAN /wireless
technologies.  This person must have understanding of routing, switching,
and wireless.  This person will be responsible for working on projects
related to implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance
management, capacity planning.



*Job Duties:*

·         Pre and Post Testing

·         Testing Verification after change

·         Oversee the engineers as they complete changes and ensure Kaiser
process is followed

·         Perform Quality Control checks

·         Be able to work Swing/Night Shift PST time (7p-5a)



*Technical Skills:*

·         Experienced installing and configuring network interfaces, SPA,
SFC on Cisco routers

·         CCNA Voice with 3-5 years’ experience

·         Installation and Configuration of Cisco routers

·         Experienced installing and configuring Cisco

·         Configuring VLANs, STP, VTP and Inter-VLAN routing in LAN
environment

·         Physical cabling, IP addressing, WAN configuration

·         MPLS, Ethernet and service provider experience

·         Upgrading the network by translating protocol like EIGRP to OSPF

·         Used DHCP to automatically assign reusable IP addresses to DHCP
clients

·         Hands on experience with various Wireless technology and products

·         QoS

·         CER experience preferred

·         Conflict resolution

·         Strong team worker

·         Capable of working with business groups and clients

·         Able to handle pressure

·         Independent, self-starter, needs little or no supervision

·         Knows how to use Remedy trouble ticket system

·         Can learn quickly and figure things out on their own
